Report a user

SPORTAMii is built on trust between players. If something feels off – a fake profile, inappropriate messages, or bad sportsmanship – our reporting tool helps you flag it quickly and confidentially.

When should you report someone?

Use the report feature if you come across any of the following.

Fake or misleading profile
Bio, photos, or sport skills that appear false or stolen from another person.

Inappropriate messages
Harassment, hate speech, explicit content, or spam sent through the chat.

Unsuitable photos
Offensive, explicit, or otherwise policy-violating profile images.

Unsafe offline conduct
Threatening or harmful behaviour that occurred during an in-person meetup.

How to report in the app

The report feature is available in the SPORTAMii mobile app. Here's how it works.

1. Open the user's profile
Navigate to the profile of the person you'd like to report in Discover or your Amiis list.

2. Tap "Report" in the top corner
A "Report" button appears in the top-right corner of their profile. Tap it to open the report screen.

3. Choose what you're reporting
Select one of four categories: their bio, photos, messages, or offline behaviour.

4. Submit – we'll handle the rest
Your report is sent privately to our moderation team. The reported user is never notified that you filed a report.

All reports are fully anonymous. The person you report will never know it was you. Your name and account details are never shared with them at any point in the review process.

Will the reported user know it was me?
No. Reports are completely anonymous. The person you report is never informed of who filed a report against them.

What happens after I submit a report?
Our moderation team reviews every report, typically within 24–48 hours. If a violation is confirmed, appropriate action is taken — from a warning up to a permanent ban.

Can I report someone I've already unmatched?
Yes. You can report a user from the Amiis tab before or after unmatching. If you've already deleted the connection, reach out to our support team directly.

Where is the report feature – is it on the website too?
The report button is available in the SPORTAMii mobile app only. Open the app, go to the person's profile, and tap "Report" in the top-right corner.

What if the issue is urgent or involves my safety?
For anything involving immediate danger, please contact local emergency services first. You can also email our safety team directly at safety@sportamii.com for priority review.
